Educational Q&A

Even in righteous warfare, leaders must discern when a warrior’s courage turns into an undue burden and respond with timely support; dharma includes protecting allies and managing risk, not merely admiring valor.

Sañjaya reports that Bhīma is tightly engaged with Karṇa. Observing the intensity and danger of this matchup, Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna conclude that Bhīma is bearing too heavy a combat load.
