Droṇa Encircled at Night: Coalition Advance and Battlefield Omens (द्रोणपर्यावरणं रात्रियुद्धवर्णनम्)
संजय उवाच एतावदुक्त्वा प्रययौ परिदाय युधिष्ठटिरम् । धृष्टद्युम्नाय बलवान् सुहृद्धयश्न पुन: पुनः:
sañjaya uvāca | etāvad uktvā prayayau paridāya yudhiṣṭhiram | dhṛṣṭadyumnāya balavān suhṛdbhyaś ca punaḥ punaḥ ||
Sañjaya sprach: „O König, nachdem er nur dies gesagt hatte, brach der mächtige Bhīmasena auf, nachdem er König Yudhiṣṭhira Dhṛṣṭadyumna und den übrigen wohlgesinnten Freunden immer wieder anvertraut hatte.“
