Droṇa’s Rebuke to Duryodhana after Jayadratha’s Fall (द्रोणेन दुर्योधनं प्रति प्रत्युक्तिः)
क्षोभयध्वं महावेगा: पवन: सागरं यथा । (इसके बाद उन्होंने फिर कहा--) 'सात्यकि और अर्जुनके न होनेपर ये कौरव तो कृतार्थ हो जायँगे और हम पराजित होंगे। अत: तुम सब लोग एक साथ मिलकर महान् वेगका आश्रय ले तुरंत ही इस सैन्य-समुद्रमें हलचल मचा दो। ठीक वैसे ही जैसे प्रचण्ड वायु महासागरको विकज्षुब्ध कर देती है”
kṣobhayadhvaṃ mahāvegāḥ pavanaḥ sāgaraṃ yathā |
Sañjaya sprach: „Wühlt (das feindliche Heer) auf, ihr Männer von großer Schnelligkeit, wie ein mächtiger Wind das Meer aufpeitscht.“ Dann fügte er hinzu: „Sind Sātyaki und Arjuna nicht da, werden die Kauravas meinen, ihr Ziel sei erreicht, und wir würden unterliegen. Darum schließt euch alle zugleich zusammen, stützt euch auf großen Schwung und bringt unverzüglich dieses ‚Heeresmeer‘ in Aufruhr—so wie ein wütender Sturmwind den weiten Ozean erschüttert.“
