Śaineya’s Breakthrough and Reunion with Arjuna (शैनेयस्य समागमः)

हयौघान्‌ निहतान्‌ दृष्टवा द्रवमाणांस्ततस्तत: । रणे माधवपार्थाभ्यां मन्ये शोचन्ति पुत्रका:

sañjaya uvāca | hayaughān nihatān dṛṣṭvā dravamāṇāṁs tataḥ tataḥ | raṇe mādhava-pārthābhyāṁ manye śocanti putrakāḥ ||

Sañjaya sprach: Als ich die Scharen der Pferde sah, die erschlagen waren, und die übrigen, die auf dem Schlachtfeld in alle Richtungen flohen—niedergemacht von Mādhava und Pārtha—da denke ich, dass deine Söhne vom Kummer verzehrt werden.
