न विमोक्ष्यन्ति कौन्तेय यद्यपि स्युर्मनोजवा: । “कुन्तीनन्दन! वे सब लोग आज मेरे नाराचोंके लक्ष्य बने हुए हैं। वे मनके समान वेगशाली हों तो भी मेरे हाथोंसे छूट नहीं सकेंगे
na vimokṣyanti kaunteya yadyapi syur manojavāḥ |
Sañjaya sprach: „O Sohn der Kuntī, sie werden nicht entkommen, selbst wenn sie so schnell wären wie der Geist. Heute sind sie zum Ziel meiner scharfen Pfeile geworden; keiner wird sich meinem Griff entziehen.“
