प्रयास्यामि तत: पश्चात्‌ पदवीं सव्यसाचिन: । 'दुर्योधनके आदेशसे ये निश्चय ही मुझसे युद्ध करनेके लिये खड़े हैं। कुरुनन्दन! मैं आपका प्रिय करनेके लिये इन सबको संग्राममें मथकर सव्यसाची अर्जुनके मार्गपर जाऊँगा

Transliteration

prayāsyāmi tataḥ paścāt padavīṁ savyasācinaḥ |

Translation

Sañjaya sprach: „Danach werde ich auf dem eigenen Pfad des Savyasācin (Arjuna) voranschreiten. Jene, die auf Duryodhanas Befehl entschlossen dastehen, um mit mir zu kämpfen, werde ich in der Schlacht aufwühlen und zermalmen, um deinen Wunsch zu erfüllen, o Spross der Kurus, und dann ziehe ich weiter auf Arjunas Spur.“
