Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 109 — Karṇa–Bhīma Yuddha and Durmukha’s Fall (कर्णभीमयुद्धम्; दुर्मुखवधः)
विसृजन्त:ः शरांश्वैव तोमरांश्न सहस्रश: । भिन्दिपालांस्तथा प्रासान् मुदूगरान् मुसलानपि
visṛjantaḥ śarāṃś caiva tomarāṃś ca sahasraśaḥ | bhindipālāṃs tathā prāsān muḍgarān musalān api ||
Sañjaya sprach: Unablässig schleuderten sie Salven von Pfeilen und warfen zu Tausenden Speere, dazu Bhindipālas und Prāsas, ja selbst schwere Keulen und Musalas; sodass die Schlacht zu einem Sturm der Waffen wurde, getrieben von unerbittlichem Kampfeswillen statt von Zurückhaltung.
