sa vānaravaro rājan patākābhir alaṅkṛtaḥ

Translation

Sañjaya sprach: O König, jener vornehmste Affe, mit Bannern geschmückt, trat als weithin sichtbares Sinnbild von Kraft und Entschlossenheit im Getümmel des Krieges hervor — ein äußeres Zeichen, bestimmt, die Verbündeten zu ermutigen und die Feinde zu beunruhigen.
