Bhīmasena and Droṇa: Containment, Advance, and Recognition
तौतु दृष्टवा व्यतिक्रान्तौ द्रोणानीकं महाद्युती । नाशशंसुर्महाराज सिन्धुराजस्य जीवितम्,परंतु महाराज! जब वे दोनों महातेजस्वी वीर द्रोणाचार्यके सैन्यव्यूहको लाँध गये, तब उन्हें देखकर आपके पुत्रोंको सिन्धुराजके जीवित रहनेकी आशा नहीं रह गयी
tau tu dṛṣṭvā vyatikrāntau droṇānīkaṁ mahādyutī | nāśaśaṁsur mahārāja sindhurājasya jīvitam ||
Sañjaya sprach: Doch als sie sahen, o König, wie jene beiden Helden von großem Glanz Droṇas Schlachtordnung durchbrachen, hegten deine Söhne keinerlei Hoffnung mehr auf das Leben des Königs von Sindhu.
