पितामहवच: श्रुत्वा त्वरमाणा महारथा: । उत्तमं जवमास्थाय प्रययुर्यत्र कौरव:,भीष्मकी यह बात सुनकर सब महारथी उत्तम वेगका आश्रय ले बड़ी उतावलीके साथ उस स्थानपर गये, जहाँ कुरुराज दुर्योधन मौजूद था
pitāmahavacaḥ śrutvā tvaramāṇā mahārathāḥ | uttamaṃ javam āsthāya prayayur yatra kauravaḥ ||
Sañjaya sprach: Als sie die Worte des Großvaters Bhīṣma vernommen hatten, ergriffen die großen Wagenkämpfer, von Dringlichkeit erfüllt, ihr schnellstes Tempo und eilten zu dem Ort, wo der Kaurava-König Duryodhana sich befand.
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the force of authoritative counsel in a dharma-bound society: when a revered elder and commander (Bhīṣma) speaks, responsible leaders respond without delay. It reflects disciplined allegiance and readiness to act in accordance with one’s role (kṣatriya duty) during crisis.
Sañjaya reports that, after hearing Bhīṣma’s words, the foremost warriors quickly set out at top speed to the location where Duryodhana was, indicating an urgent movement of commanders toward their king for coordination or response.
