अध्याय ८० — मध्यंदिन-रणवृत्तान्तः

बाढमित्येवमुक्त्वा तु सर्वे पुरुषमानिन: । मध्यन्दिनगते सूर्ये प्रययु: सर्व एव हि
bāḍham ity evam uktvā tu sarve puruṣa-māninaḥ | madhyandina-gate sūrye prayayuḥ sarva eva hi ||
Sañjaya sprach: Nachdem dies gesagt war, antworteten all jene stolzen Krieger: „So sei es.“ Als die Sonne den Mittag erreicht hatte, brachen sie alle auf—sie nahmen Yudhiṣṭhiras Befehl an und zogen mit dem Entschluss voran, tapfer zu kämpfen, wie es die Pflicht im Krieg verlangt.
