अध्याय ८० — मध्यंदिन-रणवृत्तान्तः

यदि यामि विना भीम किं मां क्षत्र॑ वदिष्यति । एकायनगते भीमे मयि चावस्थिते युधि
yadi yāmi vinā bhīma kiṁ māṁ kṣatra vadīṣyati | ekāyanagate bhīme mayi cāvāsthite yudhi ||
Sañjaya sprach: „Wenn ich ohne Bhīma zurückkehre, was wird die Kriegerschaft über mich sagen? Wenn Bhīma allein den Pfad der Schlacht gegangen ist und auch ich im Kampfgebiet stehe—wie könnte ich ohne ihn heimkehren?“
