Duryodhana’s Anxiety, Bhīṣma’s Reassurance, and Renewed Mobilization (दुर्योधनचिन्ता–भीष्मप्रत्याश्वासन–सेनानिर्गमनम्)
त॑ प्रत्यविध्यद् दशभिश्षित्रसेन: शिलीमुखै: । सत्यव्रतश्न नवशि: पुरुमित्रश्न सप्तभि:,तब चित्रसेनने दस, सत्यव्रतने नौ और पुरुमित्रने सात बाणोंसे मारकर अभिमन्युको घायल कर दिया
taṁ pratyavidhyad daśabhiḥ śitraseṇaḥ śilīmukhaiḥ | satyavrataś ca navaśiḥ purumitraś ca saptabhiḥ ||
Sañjaya sprach: Śitraseṇa traf ihn zur Antwort mit zehn scharfen, geradfliegenden Pfeilen; Satyavrata durchbohrte ihn mit neun; und Purumitra mit sieben. So wurde Abhimanyu im Gedränge der Schlacht durch ihren gebündelten Angriff verwundet.
