Makara-vyūha and Krauñca-prativyūha at Sunrise (मकरव्यूहः क्रौञ्चप्रतिव्यूहश्च)
प्रीतिमान् हि दृढ़ कृष्ण: पाण्डवेषु यशस्थविषु । तस्माद् ब्रवीमि राजेन्द्र शमो भवतु पाण्डवै:,राजेन्द्र! भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण यशस्वी पाण्डवोंपर बहुत प्रसन्न हैं। इसीलिये मैं कहता हूँ कि पाण्डवोंके साथ तुम्हारी संधि हो जाय
sañjaya uvāca |
prītimān hi dṛḍhaḥ kṛṣṇaḥ pāṇḍaveṣu yaśasviṣu |
tasmād bravīmi rājendra śamo bhavatu pāṇḍavaiḥ ||
Sañjaya sprach: „Kṛṣṇa ist wahrlich standhaft und von ganzem Herzen den ruhmreichen Pāṇḍavas gewogen. Darum, o Bester der Könige, sage ich: Es sei Frieden — schließe einen Ausgleich mit den Pāṇḍavas.“
