धृष्टद्युम्नो5पि समरे धर्मराजानम भ्ययात् । ततः प्रववृते युद्ध तुमुलं लोमहर्षणम्
sañjaya uvāca | dhṛṣṭadyumno 'pi samare dharmarājānam abhyayāt | tataḥ pravavṛte yuddhaṃ tumulaṃ lomaharṣaṇam |
Sañjaya sprach: Selbst Dhṛṣṭadyumna rückte mitten im Kampf zu Dharmarāja (Yudhiṣṭhira) vor. Daraufhin entbrannte ein tumultisches, haarsträubendes Gefecht—schrecklich in seiner Wucht—ein Zeichen der sich steigernden Kriegswut und der schweren moralischen Last, die jene tragen, die unter dem Banner des Dharma kämpfen.
