Evening Withdrawal after Arjuna’s Counter-Advance
त॑ विसंज्ञं विमनसं त्वरमाणस्तु सारथि: । अपोवाह न सम्भ्रान्त: सर्वलोकस्य पश्यत:,उसे अचेत और अनमना देख सारथि तनिक भी घबराहटमें न पड़कर अत्यन्त उतावलीके साथ सबके देखते-देखते रणभूमिसे दूर हटा ले गया
taṁ visaṁjñaṁ vimanasaṁ tvaramāṇas tu sārathiḥ | apovāha na sambhrāntaḥ sarvalokasya paśyataḥ ||
Sañjaya sprach: Als er ihn bewusstlos und niedergeschlagen sah, brachte der Wagenlenker — ohne die geringste Panik — ihn eilends vom Schlachtfeld fort, vor aller Augen. Die Szene betont die Disziplin der Pflicht im Krieg: selbst unter öffentlicher Beobachtung und in der Krise muss man standhaft und geistesgegenwärtig handeln, um Leben zu schützen und die eigene Rolle zu wahren.
