भीष्मविक्रमदर्शनं तथा क्रौञ्चारुणव्यूहविधानम् | Bhīṣma’s Ascendancy and the Organization of the Krauñcāruṇa Formation
सम्पूर्ण गोपनीयोंसे अति गोपनीय मेरे परम रहस्ययुक्त वचनको तू फिर भी सुनरें। तू मेरा अतिशय प्रिय है,* इससे यह परम हितकारक वचन मैं तुझसे कहूँगा ।।
sarva-guhyatamaṁ bhūyaḥ śṛṇu me paramaṁ vacaḥ | iṣṭo 'si me dṛḍham iti tato vakṣyāmi te hitam || man-manā bhava mad-bhakto mad-yājī māṁ namaskuru | mām evaiṣyasi satyaṁ te pratijāne priyo 'si me ||
O Arjuna, höre noch einmal mein höchstes Wort, das geheimste aller Geheimnisse, erfüllt vom erhabensten Mysterium. Weil du Mir überaus lieb bist, will Ich dir sagen, was zu deinem höchsten Heil ist: Richte deinen Geist auf Mich; werde Mein Verehrer; verehre Mich im Opferdienst; und verneige dich vor Mir. Tust du dies, wirst du gewiss zu Mir gelangen — das gelobe Ich dir wahrhaftig — denn du bist Mir lieb.
