Transliteration

taiś ca muktoccharān bhīṣmo yudhi satyaparākramaḥ

Translation

Sañjaya sprach: In jener Schlacht ließ Bhīṣma—dessen Tapferkeit niemals trügte—jene Pfeile fliegen und begegnete dem Augenblick mit unbeirrbarer Entschlossenheit und der strengen Pflicht eines Kṣatriya auf dem Feld der Waffen.
