भीष्मस्य जलप्रार्थना — अर्जुनस्य पर्जन्यास्त्रप्रयोगः — दुर्योधनं प्रति सन्ध्युपदेशः

अत्यद्भुतं रणे कर्म कृतवांस्तत्र पाण्डव: | महारथा>शरैरविंद्ध्वा वारयित्वा च मारिष
atyadbhutaṃ raṇe karma kṛtavāṃs tatra pāṇḍavaḥ | mahārathān śarair avinddhvā vārayitvā ca māriṣa ||
Sañjaya sprach: „Dort vollbrachte der Pāṇḍava im Kampf eine höchst erstaunliche Tat: Nachdem er die großen Wagenkrieger mit seinen Pfeilen durchbohrt hatte, hielt er sie auch auf und drängte sie zurück, o Ehrwürdiger.“
