धूतपापो जितस्वर्गों मुमुदे भ्रातृभि: सह । इस प्रकार पृथ्वीके मूल्यके रूपमें वह सुवर्ण देकर राजा युधिष्ठिर अपने भाइयोंसहित बहुत प्रसन्न हुए। उनके सारे पाप धुल गये और उन्होंने स्वर्गपर अधिकार प्राप्त कर लिया
dhūtapāpo jitasvargo mumude bhrātṛbhiḥ saha |
Vaiśaṃpāyana sprach: Nachdem seine Sünden abgewaschen waren und er das Anrecht auf den Himmel erlangt hatte, freute sich König Yudhiṣṭhira zusammen mit seinen Brüdern. Indem er jenes Gold als Preis der Erde hingab, empfand er tiefe Genugtuung.
