राजपूजाविधानम् / Royal Reception Protocols during Āśvamedha Preparations

धनं चास्मै ददुर्भूरि प्रीयमाणा महारथा: । उन सब लोगोंने प्रेमवश उसे छातीसे लगा लिया और उसका यथोचित सत्कार किया। इतना ही नहीं, बश्रुवाहनपर प्रसन्न हुए उन पाण्डव महारथियोंने उसे बहुत धन दिया ।। ७३६ || तथैव च महीपाल: कृष्णं चक्रगदाधरम्‌

dhanaṃ cāsmai dadur bhūri prīyamāṇā mahārathāḥ |

Von innerer Freude bewegt, schenkten die großen Wagenkämpfer ihm reichen Besitz. Aus Zuneigung umarmten sie ihn und ehrten ihn, wie es sich ziemte—eine Geste des Dankes und der Versöhnung nach dem Streit, die Achtung vor Tapferkeit und rechter Lebensführung bekräftigt.
