राजपूजाविधानम् / Royal Reception Protocols during Āśvamedha Preparations

तस्मिन्‌ सदसि नित्यास्तु व्यासशिष्या द्विजर्षभा: । सर्वशास्त्रप्रणेतार: कुशला यज्ञसंस्तरे,व्यासजीके शिष्य श्रेष्ठ ब्राह्मण उस यज्ञसभामें सदा उपस्थित रहते थे। वे सम्पूर्ण शास्त्रोंके प्रणेता और यज्ञकर्ममें कुशल थे

tasmin sadasi nityāstu vyāsaśiṣyā dvijarṣabhāḥ | sarvaśāstrapraṇetāraḥ kuśalā yajñasaṃstare ||

Vaiśaṃpāyana sprach: In jener Opferversammlung waren stets die Vornehmsten unter den Zweimalgeborenen — Schüler Vyāsas — zugegen. Sie waren maßgebliche Ausleger aller Śāstras und kundig darin, die Riten auf dem Opfergrund zu ordnen und zu vollziehen, sodass das Yajña gemäß Dharma und rechter Vorschrift voranschritt.
