पर्याप्त: क्षत्रधर्मो<यं दर्शित: पुत्र गम्यताम्‌ । बह्नेतत्‌ समरे कर्म तव बालस्य पार्थिव

Transliteration

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: paryāptaḥ kṣatradharmo ’yaṃ darśitaḥ putra gamyatām | bahv etat samare karma tava bālasya pārthiva ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Genug — du hast, mein Sohn, die Pflicht eines Kṣatriya vollauf gezeigt. Kehre nun nach Hause zurück. O König, du bist noch ein Kind; die Tapferkeit, die du auf diesem Schlachtfeld bewiesen hast, ist für dich mehr als ausreichend.“
