Janmaveśma-praveśa and Uttarā’s Śaraṇāgati
Entry into the Birth-Chamber and Uttarā’s Appeal
संजीवयैन दुर्धर्ष मृतं त्वमभिमन्युजम् । सदृशाक्षसुतं वीर सस्य॑ वर्षन्निवाम्बुद:
saṃjīvayaina durdharṣa mṛtaṃ tvam abhimanyujam | sadṛśākṣasutaṃ vīra sasyaṃ varṣann ivāmbudaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „O unbezwingbarer Held, erwecke diesen toten Sohn Abhimanyus wieder zum Leben—dessen Augen denen seines Vaters gleichen. Wie eine Regenwolke, die Wasser ausgießt, selbst ein verdorrtes Feld wieder erblühen lässt, so belebe auch du ihn von neuem.“
