Adhyāya 51: Kṛṣṇa’s Leave-Taking and Departure for Dvārakā (द्वारकागमनानुमति)
मयि चेदस्ति ते प्रीतिर्नित्यं कुरुकुलोद्वह । अध्यात्ममेतच्छुत्वा त्वं सम्यगाचर सुव्रत,उत्तम व्रतका पालन करनेवाले कुरुकुलनन्दन! यदि मुझपर तुम्हारा प्रेम हो तो इस अध्यात्मज्ञानको सुनकर तुम नित्य इसका यथावत् पालन करो
mayi ced asti te prītir nityaṁ kurukulodvaha | adhyātmam etac chrutvā tvaṁ samyag āchara suvrata ||
Vāyu sprach: „O vornehmster Träger des Kuru-Geschlechts, wenn du wahrhaft beständige Liebe und Ehrfurcht zu mir hegst, dann — nachdem du diese Lehre vom inneren Selbst vernommen hast — übe sie recht und unablässig, mit der standhaften Zucht dessen, der dem höchsten Gelübde geweiht ist.“
