Adhyātma-Upadeśa
यावद् रथपथस्तावदू रथेन स तु गच्छति । क्षीणे रथपदे विद्वान् रथमुत्सूज्य गच्छति
yāvad rathapathas tāvadū rathena sa tu gacchati | kṣīṇe rathapade vidvān ratham utsṛjya gacchati |
Vāyu sprach: „Solange es einen Wagenweg gibt, fährt man im Wagen. Wenn die Spur des Wagenwegs endet, lässt der Weise den Wagen zurück und geht zu Fuß weiter. Ebenso klammert sich der törichte Wanderer an ein einziges Mittel und leidet, wenn sich das Gelände wandelt; der Einsichtige passt seine Methode den Grenzen des Weges an.“
