Ethics of Non-attachment
आशीर्युक्तानि सर्वाणि हिंसायुक्तानि यानि च । लोकसंग्रहधर्म च नैव कुर्यान्न कारयेत्,जितने भी कामना और हिंसासे युक्त कर्म हैं, उन सबका एवं लौकिक कर्मोंका न स्वयं अनुष्ठान करे और न दूसरोंसे करावे
āśīryuktāni sarvāṇi hiṃsāyuktāni yāni ca | lokasaṃgrahadharmaṃ ca naiva kuryān na kārayet ||
Vāyu sprach: Man soll weder selbst handeln noch andere dazu veranlassen, Handlungen zu vollziehen, die vom Verlangen nach Lohn getrieben oder von Gewalt befleckt sind. Ebenso soll man sich nicht an bloß weltliche Pflichten binden, die um gesellschaftlicher Zustimmung oder äußerer Ordnung willen verfolgt werden, wenn sie das wahre Dharma beeinträchtigen. Die Lehre mahnt zur Zügelung selbstsüchtiger und schädlicher Taten und warnt davor, Unrecht an andere auszulagern.
