कर्मनाशाभावः, गर्भे जीवप्रवेशः, आचारधर्मोपदेशः

Karma’s Non-Extinction, Jīva’s Entry into the Embryo, and Instruction on Conduct-Dharma

लोहपिण्डं यथा वल्रि: प्रविश्य हतितापयेत्‌ । तथा त्वमपि जानीहि गर्भे जीवोपपादनम्‌,जैसे आग लोहपिण्डमें प्रविष्ट होकर उसे बहुत तपा देती है, उसी प्रकार गर्भमें जीवका प्रवेश होता है और वह उसमें चेतनता ला देता है। इस बातको तुम अच्छी तरह समझ लो

lohapiṇḍaṃ yathā vahniḥ praviśya hatitāpayet | tathā tvam api jānīhi garbhe jīvopapādanam ||

Wie das Feuer, wenn es in einen Eisenklumpen eindringt, ihn überaus stark erhitzt, so erkenne auch dies: Wenn das lebendige Selbst (jīva) in den Mutterleib eintritt, stiftet es dort Leben und bringt Empfindung in das zuvor Träge. Erfasse es klar.
