धृतराष्ट्रदर्शनाय पाण्डवानां प्रयाणम् | The Pāṇḍavas Prepare to Visit Dhṛtarāṣṭra
स्थिता5हं बालभावेन तत्र दोषमबुद्ध्यती । अथ देव: सहस्रांशुर्मत्समीपगतो भवत्,उस समय मैं बाल-स्वभावसे युक्त थी। सूर्यदेवके आगमनसे किस दोषकी प्राप्ति होगी, इसे मैं नहीं समझ सकी। इधर मेरे आवाहन करते ही भगवान् सूर्य पास आकर खड़े हो गये
sthitāhaṃ bāla-bhāvena tatra doṣam abuddhyatī | atha devaḥ sahasrāṃśur mat-samīpa-gato bhavat ||
„Damals war ich in der Unschuld der Kindheit und begriff nicht, welcher Fehltritt daraus erwachsen könnte. Da kam der Gott der tausend Strahlen — die Sonne — meinem Ruf folgend herbei und trat nahe zu mir.“
