नारदेन धृतराष्ट्रगतिवर्णनम् | Nārada’s Account of Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Future Course

कच्चित्‌ कुन्ती च राजंस्त्वां शुश्रूषत्यनहंकृता । या परित्यज्य स्वं पुत्र गुरुशुश्रूषणे रता,“राजन! जो अपने पुत्रोंको त्यागकर गुरुजनोंकी सेवामें लगी हुई है, वह कुन्ती क्या अहंकारशून्य होकर तुम्हारी सेवा-शुश्रूषा करती है?

kaccit kuntī ca rājan tvāṃ śuśrūṣaty anahaṅkṛtā | yā parityajya svaṃ putraṃ guruśuśrūṣaṇe ratā ||

Vaiśampāyana sprach: „O König, dient dir Kuntī — frei von Hochmut — mit hingebungsvoller Fürsorge? Sie, die sogar ihre eigenen Söhne beiseitegestellt hat und ganz dem Dienst an Ältesten und Lehrern ergeben ist, setzt sie diesen demütigen Dienst auch dir gegenüber fort?“
