Nārada’s Exempla of Tapas and Assurance to Dhṛtarāṣṭra (नारदोपदेशः—तपःसिद्ध्युदाहरणम्)
The verse underscores that decisive moments—especially after great upheaval—are to be framed by dharma and sanctified guidance. The arrival of maharṣis represents moral authority, remembrance of sacred order, and the transition from worldly conflict toward spiritual reckoning.
As the group remains seated, a gathering of great sages arrives, led by Śatayūpa and others associated with Kurukṣetra. Their entrance marks the formation of a spiritually weighty assembly, preparing the scene for counsel, rites, or significant discussion.
