धृतराष्ट्रस्य वनप्रस्थानम् — Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Departure for Forest Life
प्रयाणं घुष्यतां चैव श्वोभूत इति मा चिरम् । क्रियतां पथि चाप्यद्य वेश्मानि विविधानि च,“नगरमें यह घोषणा करा दी जाय कि “कल खबेरे यात्रा की जायगी; इसलिये चलनेवालोंको विलम्ब नहीं करना चाहिये।” मार्गमें हमलोगोंके ठहरनेके लिये आज ही कई तरहके डेरे तैयार कर दिये जायूँ
prayāṇaṃ ghuṣyatāṃ caiva śvobhūta iti mā ciram | kriyatāṃ pathi cāpyadya veśmāni vividhāni ca ||
Vaiśampāyana sprach: „Lasst in der Stadt unverzüglich den Aufbruch ausrufen: ‘Morgen bei Tagesanbruch brechen wir auf—so zögere niemand.’ Und lasst noch heute entlang des Weges verschiedene Herbergen und Rastplätze herrichten.“
