Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
सा ब्रह्मदण्डकल्पेन तेन मूर्थ्नि हता तदा । कृत्या पपात मेदिन्यां भस्म सा च जगाम ह
sā brahmadaṇḍakalpena tena mūrdhni hatā tadā | kṛtyā papāta medinyāṃ bhasma sā ca jagāma ha ||
Da traf er sie am Haupt mit einer Wucht, die dem Brahma-daṇḍa (dem heiligen Strafstab) glich. Jene bösartige kṛtyā stürzte zu Boden und wurde zu Asche—so wird es überliefert.
