घोरो विरूप: संवर्त: सुधन्वा चाष्टम: स्मृत: । एतेडष्टौ वहल्लिजा: सर्वे ज्ञाननिष्ठा निरामया:

Transliteration

ghoro virūpaḥ saṃvartaḥ sudhanvā cāṣṭamaḥ smṛtaḥ | ete ’ṣṭau vahallijāḥ sarve jñānaniṣṭhā nirāmayāḥ ||

Translation

Vasiṣṭha sprach: „Ghora, Virūpa, Saṃvarta und als achter Sudhanvā—so werden sie unter ihnen erinnert. Diese acht, geboren in der mit Agni verbundenen Linie, stehen fest in geistiger Erkenntnis und sind frei von Leid. Ihr Leben ist ein Vorbild an Zucht: ein Zustand ohne Krankheit und ohne Kummer, gegründet auf Weisheit statt auf weltliches Streben.“
