गोप्रदानगुणाः तथा कपिलागोविधानम्
Merits of Cow-Gift and the Origin-Account of Kapilā Cows
तथा नास्त्यशुभ॑ किंचिन्न व्याधिस्तत्र न कलम: । यद् यच्च गावो मनसा तस्मिन् वाउछन्ति वासव
tathā nāsty aśubhaṁ kiñcin na vyādhis tatra na kalamaḥ | yad yac ca gāvo manasā tasmin vāñchanti vāsava ||
Bhīṣma sprach: „Ebenso gibt es dort nicht das geringste Unheil; in jenem Reich gibt es weder Krankheit noch Bedrängnis. O Vāsava (Indra), was immer die Kühe dort in ihrem Geist begehren, das erlangen sie—dies habe ich mit eigenen Augen gesehen. Sie gehen, wohin sie wollen, bewegen sich, wie sie wollen, und durch bloßen Willen erreichen und genießen sie alle Gegenstände des Genusses.“
