च्यवन उवाच राजन्‌ नाहंम्यहं कोटिं भूयो वापि महाद्युते । सदृशं दीयतां मूल्यं ब्राह्मणैः सह चिन्तय

Transliteration

cyavana uvāca rājann nāhamya-haṁ koṭiṁ bhūyo vāpi mahādyute | sadṛśaṁ dīyatāṁ mūlyaṁ brāhmaṇaiḥ saha cintaya ||

Translation

Cyavana sprach: „O König, du Mächtiger im Glanz, ich bin nicht für ein koṭi zu verkaufen — noch für mehr. Gib eine angemessene Entschädigung und berate dies mit den Brahmanen.“
