गोमूल्यनिर्णयः — The Determination of Value through the Cow

ते चापि सदृशं वर्ण जनयन्ति स्वयोनिषु | परस्परस्य दारेषु जनयन्ति विगर्हितान्
te cāpi sadṛśaṃ varṇaṃ janayanti svayoniṣu | parasparasya dāreṣu janayanti vigarhitān |
Bhīṣma sagte: „Auch die aus gemischten Ordnungen Geborenen zeugen Nachkommen von ähnlichem (gemischtem) Rang, wenn sie sich innerhalb ihresgleichen verbinden. Wenn sie aber mit den Frauen anderer verkehren — mit Frauen aus verschiedenen Gruppen, ja mit den Ehefrauen untereinander —, dann gelten die hervorgebrachten Kinder als noch verwerflicher als sie selbst.“
