Shloka 37

अहिंसयित्वा ब्रह्महत्याविधानम् / Brahmahatyā incurred without physical violence

ये त्वेवंगुणजातीयास्तेभ्यो दत्त महाफलम्‌ | सहस्रगुणमाप्रोति गुणाहाय प्रदायक:

ye tv evaṁguṇajātīyās tebhyo dattaṁ mahāphalam | sahasraguṇam āpnoti guṇāhāya pradāyakaḥ ||

Bhishma sprach: Gaben, die man Empfängern darbringt, die wahrhaft mit solchen Tugenden ausgestattet sind, tragen große Frucht. Ja, der Geber erlangt tausendfachen Ertrag, denn das Geben wird durch die Vorzüge des Empfängers und durch die urteilsvolle Wahl des Gebers veredelt.
