Shloka 50

आनुृशंस्यपरैर्भाव्यं सदैव नियतात्मभि: । ब्रह्मण्यैर्धर्मशीलैश्व तपोनित्यैश्ष भारता:

ānṛśaṃsyaparair bhāvyaṃ sadaiva niyatātmabhiḥ | brahmaṇyair dharmaśīlaiś ca taponityaiś ca bhāratāḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana sprach: „O Nachkommen Bharatas, wer sich selbst beherrscht, soll sich stets allen gegenüber mit Mitgefühl und Sanftmut verhalten. Er soll den Brāhmaṇas ergeben sein, im Dharma standhaft und in der Askese beständig.“
