Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca | evam uktas tu gāṅgeyaḥ kuntīputreṇa dhīmatā | dadarśa bhāratān sarvān sthitān samparivārya ha |

Translation

Vaiśampāyana sprach: So vom weisen Sohn der Kuntī (Yudhiṣṭhira) angesprochen, öffnete Bhīṣma — ein Nachkomme der Gaṅgā — die Augen und erblickte alle Bhāratas, die rings um ihn standen und ihn von allen Seiten umgaben.
