हविध्रश्न पृषध्रश्न प्रतीप: शान्तनुस्तथा । अज: प्राचीनबर्हिश्व तथेक्ष्वाकुर्महायशा:

Transliteration

havidhraśnaḥ pṛṣadhraśnaḥ pratīpaḥ śāntanus tathā | ajaḥ prācīnabarhiś ca tathekṣvākur mahāyaśāḥ ||

Translation

Bhīṣma sprach: „Nun höre ferner die Namen jener königlichen Weisen: Havidhraśna, Pṛṣadhraśna, Pratīpa und Śāntanu; ebenso Aja, Prācīnabarhis und der hochberühmte Ikṣvāku.“
