विश्वेदेवा नभश्नैव नक्षत्राणि ग्रहास्तथा । पान्तु नः सततं देवा: कीर्तिता$कीर्तिता मया
viśvedevā nabhaś caiva nakṣatrāṇi grahās tathā | pāntu naḥ satataṃ devāḥ kīrtitākīrtitā mayā ||
Bhīṣma sprach: „Mögen die Viśvedevas, der Himmel selbst, die Sternbilder und ebenso die Planeten uns stets beschützen. Mögen alle Götter — die von mir genannten und die nicht genannten — uns unablässigen Schutz gewähren.“
