Anuśāsana-parva 17

सर्ववास: सर्वचारी दुर्वासा वासवो5मर: । हैमो हेमकरो<यज्ञ: सर्वधारी धरोत्तम:

sarvavāsaḥ sarvacārī durvāsā vāsavo 'maraḥ | haimo hemakaro 'yajñaḥ sarvadhārī dharottamaḥ ||

Vāyu-deva sprach: „Er ist der Bewohner aller Orte und der Wanderer überall; ‘Durvāsā’—so weit und grenzenlos, dass nichts ihn ganz bedecken oder fassen kann; Vāsava, von der Art der herrscherlichen Macht Indras; und Amara, der Unvergängliche. Er ist Haimā—gleich der schneeigen Masse des Himalaya; Hemakara, der Gold hervorbringt; Ayajña, jenseits rituellen Handelns; Sarvadhārī, der Träger von allem; und Dharottama, der höchste Träger, der den ganzen Kosmos aufrechterhält.“
