नक्षत्रविग्रहमतिर्गुणबुद्धिर्लयो 5गम: । प्रजापतिर्विश्वबाहुर्विभाग: सर्वगो5मुख:
nakṣatravigrahamatir guṇabuddhir layo 'gamaḥ | prajāpatir viśvabāhur vibhāgaḥ sarvago 'mukhaḥ ||
Vāyu-deva sprach: „Er kennt die Bewegungen und Konstellationen von Sternen, Planeten und Leuchten; sein Geist erfasst die guṇas; Er ist der Grund, in den bei der kosmischen Auflösung alles eingeht, und doch bleibt Er der Unergründliche. Er ist Prajāpati, Herr der Geschöpfe; der, dessen Arme überallhin reichen; das Prinzip von Unterscheidung und Ordnung; allgegenwärtig; und ohne Antlitz — jenseits jeder begrenzten Gestalt.“
