Anuśāsana-parva 17

कमण्डलुधरो धन्वी बाणहस्त: कपालवान्‌ । अशनी शतघ्नी खड्गी पट्टिशी चायुधी महान्‌

kamaṇḍaludharo dhanvī bāṇahastaḥ kapālavān | aśanī śataghnī khaḍgī paṭṭiśī cāyudhī mahān ||

Vāyu-deva sprach: „Er erschien als großer, höchster Krieger: mit einem kamaṇḍalu (Wassergefäß), mit Bogen und Pfeil in der Hand; mit einer Schädelschale, mit Donnerkeil und śataghnī; mit Schwert und paṭṭiśa; und dazu mit seiner gewohnten Waffe, dem Dreizack.“
