गभस्ति््रह्यकृद्‌ ब्रद्मी ब्रद्मविद्‌ ब्राह्मणो गति: । अनन्तरूपो नैकात्मा तिग्मतेजा: स्वयम्भुव:

gabhastir brahmakṛd brahmī brahmavid brāhmaṇo gatiḥ | anantarūpo naikātmā tigmtejāḥ svayambhuvaḥ ||

Vāyu sprach: „Er ist sonnenhafte Strahlkraft; der Offenbarer des Brahman (der Veden); der Rezitator der Veda; der Kenner ihres Sinnes; der in Brahman gegründete Heilige; und das höchste Ziel derer, die in Brahman feststehen. Er ist von endlosen Gestalten, nicht an eine einzige Verkörperung gebunden, und besitzt lodernde Herrlichkeit—selbstseiend.“
