Shloka 106

स्थिरलिंगश्न यन्नित्यं तस्मात्‌ स्थाणुरिति स्मृत: । ये ऊर्ध्वभागमें स्थित होकर देहधारियोंके प्राणोंका नाश करते हैं। सदा स्थिर रहते हैं और जिनका लिंग-विग्रह सदा स्थिर रहता है। इसलिये ये 'स्थाणु” कहलाते हैं

sthiraliṅgaś ca yan nityaṁ tasmāt sthāṇur iti smṛtaḥ |

Vāyu sprach: „Weil sein Sinnbild (liṅga) stets unbewegt und fest gegründet bleibt, wird er daher unter dem Namen ‘Sthāṇu’ — der Standhafte — in Erinnerung gehalten.“
