अकस्माच्च प्रहसति तथाकस्मात् प्ररोदिति । न चास्य वयसा तुल्य: पृथिव्यामभवत् तदा,वे अकस्मात् जोर-जोरसे हँसने लगते और अचानक फूट-फूटकर रो पड़ते थे। उस समय इस पृथ्वीपर उनका समवयस्क कोई नहीं था
akasmācca prahasati tathākasmāt praroditi | na cāsya vayasā tulyaḥ pṛthivyām abhavat tadā ||
Vāyu-deva sprach: „Ohne erkennbaren Grund brach er plötzlich in Lachen aus und ebenso plötzlich in Tränen. Damals gab es auf dieser Erde niemanden seines Alters, der ihm gleichgekommen wäre.“
वायुदेव उवाच
