Shloka 22
तदा तान् दुःखितान् ज्ञात्वा आनृशंस्यपरो मुनि: । अयत्नेनादहत् सर्वान् खलिन: स्वेन तेजसा
tadā tān duḥkhitān jñātvā ānṛśaṃsyaparo muniḥ | ayatnenādahat sarvān khalinaḥ svena tejasā ||
Bhishma sprach: Da erkannte der Weise, der an Mitgefühl der Erste war, ihr Leid und gewährte ihnen Furchtlosigkeit; und ohne jede Anstrengung verbrannte er all jene Dämonen, die Khalins genannt wurden, durch die Macht seines eigenen geistigen Glanzes.
