अध्याय १६ — शङ्कर-उमा-वरदानम् तथा तण्डि-स्तुतिः (Śaṅkara–Umā Boon-Granting and Taṇḍi’s Hymn)
वेदशास्त्रपुराणोक्ता: पञ्चैता गतय: स्मृता: । त्वत्प्रसादाद्धि लभ्यन्ते न लभ्यन्तेडन्यूथा विभो
vedaśāstrapurāṇoktāḥ pañcaitā gatayaḥ smṛtāḥ | tvatprasādād dhi labhyante na labhyante ’nyathā vibho prabho ||
Die fünf Bestimmungen, von denen Veden, Śāstras und Purāṇas sprechen, gelten als maßgebliche Überlieferung. Doch werden sie nur durch deine Gnade erlangt, o allgegenwärtiger Herr; anders werden sie nicht erlangt.
